I had an appt at 11:30 on 6/10/22 for a echo stress test. I am Ms. Jackson for those needing to verify. The young ladies that assisted me were professional and communicated thoroughly of what they were about to do and what they were doing. It was very hard to breath with my mask on while on the treadmill and I had 2 light chest pains within those few min. After they took the final pictures of my heart I was given a towel to clean the gunk off and told to get dressed (bra and shirt). They step out and close the curtain for my privacy. Approximately 1.5 min later I hear one the ladies say, “Is she dressed yet?” I respond not yet and at the same time Dr. Matthews just open the curtain anyway. Luckily I at least had my bra covering my breast though the straps weren’t on my shoulders yet. I get dressed and say I’m dressed. He comes back in asking why I only went 6 min. I told him I couldn’t breathe and I was getting tired. I also mentioned the 2 light pains in my chest. He glanced at the screen and said , “I don’t see anything wrong.” He asked the ladies if I had a follow up appt and instructed them to set me up to see Dr. Hira in 2 months. I don’t know if he had a lunch break/date or what but this Dr. Matthews showed no type of real care or concern. He was very rude in seeing a closed curtain and just opening it without asking if I’m dressed. If my breast had been visible it would’ve been a real problem. I hope NOT to ever see this man again. It’s fine if you don’t give a hoot but never make your patients feel that way. I have had these light pains sporadically since the test. I don’t understand how you don’t see ANYTHING.

If you want quality care come here. I saw a PA named Hira a few weeks ago and she talked to me about quitting smoking in a way none of my doctors ever have. I've smoked for years and no one has ever given me detailed reasons to quit until her. It was an eye opening conversation for me. CNY will help you take control of your health.
