We had the same experience . We're told our teacup yorkie would be 3-4 lbs. She was 1.5lbs and 3 months old. She acted starved when we got her home. Now 8 months old and 6.4 lbs. Larger than we were told. But she is our daughter and we love her to death. People just need to be honest.

Walked in here prepared to purchase a gift for my wife, no matter the cost, from the moment she walked in there to pick out her dog, she sAw the smallest (2month) shorthair Applehead chihuahua, laying curled up and shivering (ac was set I’m assuming at a steady 70-71 degrees) that’s not the point, my wife had to LET THE TWO WOMEN working there, KNOW that this dog is cold, then in Spanish the younger one told the other woman, “put another blanket on that dog she says he’s cold” . You would think they would notice. They threw another towel in there which I pray helps that little dog. Based on the fact that these are obviously puppy mill dogs, due to the prior reviews of “sick and deformed/injured” puppies being purchased. We decided, no, I hope some rescue group breaks in and takes all the puppies, beats up every single CLUELESS AND HEARTLESS EMPLOYEE, takes those $6k+ puppies and SAVES THEM AND ALL THE FUTURE BUYERS, from this obvious company, that is clueless about the breeds and their basic needs, such as shelter, food , and warmth. For THE OWNER: get a clue, your store in north Miami smelled worse than the doggy daycare that my young sister worked at , that held over 50 small medium and large pets. Shows how much care is given to these puppies. No wonder they all end up sick, they’re not only likely inbred. But they CAN AND DO develop illnesses such as NEUMONÍA, PARVO, and , SUDDEN DEATH. From being in the condition, your entire store’s “inventory” was in. I should’ve listened… to the prior reviews.

Please do yourself a favor and don’t EVER go to this place. I got a poppy from tiny paws a few months ago. She was 2.2 pounds and was supposed to be a “teacup”. She’s currently 5 months old and over 6.5 pounds, she looks like a mix. I address my issue with the owner, and she told me she’ll help me being really nice about it. I have never in my entire live met someone so unprofessional. I called her after two weeks of silence from her and she text me saying she’ll have to contact her manager lol, her being the owner of this place. Long story short, I have called her several times with no response from her. A professional business at least should be able to talk to customers and help. I wish I had done some research before spending all my money on this place. Better to adopt: better prices and more quality than this place. Nothing more than a SCAM Update: my poppy is 12 pounds! Shes a little over a year now. Shes to big to even be a chihuahua and never even got a reply from the owner

Sadly I didn’t read all the reviews from Tiny Paws before purchasing my Pomeranian. I see the majority of the reviews are pointing out the same situation even though some gave 5 stars, the problem seems to be the same….. Tiny Paws always say that puppies won't be more that 4 or 5 pounds/teacup and later on puppies end up being bigger. We purchased a Pomeranian that was supposed to be super small and weight around 4 pounds (max max 5 pounds) with no Pedigree for $7800 plus fees. Our lovely Pom is 7 months now and before spaying her she was already 7.8 pounds. I was explained by Tiny Paws that spaying a female dog may get her also a little bigger so I would probably end up with a 9 pounds Pomeranian. As per the Vet which is the one they recommended the size of the pet is really related to the parents size and she will not grow more for being spayed, she may get weight but not grow more. Anyways, I can't really have the proper information about the parents because she doesn’t have a pedigree and whatever was explained verbally obviously did not guarantee anything. The people in the store are super nice, always following up properly to check how the puppy is adapting in the new home. In our case my puppy had Parvo a couple of days after buying her and the way they treated my puppy made a huge difference in saving her… it was truly hard for few days but she made it and now my Pom is a healthy dog. The only reason I am giving 3 stars is because it is NOT RIGHT to say the puppy will be small to do the sale and later on stating you can't really control the size. If you can't guarantee that the puppy will be small then it is better not to say anything rather than assume something to make a sale. I've been trying to get in touch with the owner (Karen) but her replies are always delaying to have the conversation even though her staff in the store sent her pictures and confirmed she was bigger than what they told me she would be. There are so many other places that would have sold the same Pomeranian for half the price with Pedigree. I sent the owner a website were one of my friends purchased her Pom for less than half of what I payed and the Puppy came with pedigree and is smaller than mine. This information was sent to the owner for her corroborate the information.
