Extra Space Storage

I recently became a customer of Extra Space Storage in Montville, NJ. There were two people working, and I met Walter when I came in with questions about the storage units. The office atmosphere read as an office environment, but relaxed. So I approached Walter and was met with his very pleasant demeanor. He answered my questions clearly and to the point, and showed me two units that I had questions about. This place is so incredibly clean, with shiny clean hall floors, no dust, clean units and no bits of trash around. Hall lights automatically come on as you enter, and I think they stayed on while I was there. The unit is cleaned and prepped with a new lock inside if the customer decides they want to buy that. When you are moving and storing things, convenience counts, and their system works. Even the unit doors release and come up slightly once you move the lock bar, and are easy to pull up. Obviously I rented the one I felt would be appropriate, and went through a fairly quick process not having to write any lengthy application since Walter entered everything into the system. In my opinion, they are a 5-star storage place, and has 5-star people. I say “people” because if a work environment is tarnished by any one person, the others are affected. So even though I had no direct contact with the other person, it’s clear that they are good working with each other, and Walter is definitely a 5-star person and treats customers right. Personally, having been in and out of storage units on an as-needed basis, I’d give this one a 5-star rating. Great all around-- people as well as the facility.

The office staff is wonderful! Usually I deal with Walter and he is a pleasure and so helpful. I had to move from a larger unit to a smaller unit as the prices went up drastically though! But I did stay in the same facility
