I would not be able to function half as well or as independently as I can now without my personal care assistants, from daily tasks like helping me with cleaning and cooking to helping me manage my Dr. Appointments with my 8 different specialists, to running errands with me and figuring out ways for me to become more independent and helping me realize that indepence is more then doing things myself its the ability to choose who helps me with the things I need help with. Using Consumer Directed Choices, Inc. Consumer Directed Personal Assistance Association of New York State has helped me so much in so many ways. My quality of life and confidence is great and it made the transition from living with family to in my apartment so much easier for everyone, my family great but this allows piece of mind for them and indepence as an adult living with a disability for me. I have used CDC services for almost 15 years and I have been 100% satisfied with the home care, PA'S, and the excellent communication with this company. Without the daily care I get, I would not be independent and be able to live in my own home. I highly recommend if looking for quality home care, CDC would be an excellent choice!!
