They have a very limited selection of audio books. Even big name authors like Stephen King. His newest book titled fairytale has zero copies of the audio book where as OCPL has 34 copies. Winter park does have 1 copy of the actual book. (I’m just using King as an example the same is true for most well known authors). Structure wise I feel like whoever designed this building either didn’t know it was going to be a library or has never entered a library and/or book store. Very creepy

I really want to love this library, but it really lacks the main features library should have (and most libraries do have): quiet study spaces WITH TABLES away from all the activity. I’ve been here at least 10 times to attempt to work. The few study rooms (limited rental) and the computer lab (that only has 2 empty desk spaces for you to bring your own laptop) are in the center of the building, right in the middle of activity and people walking by, and across from the amphitheater. There are some quieter spaces around the perimeter, but they are just benches, not tables. Where am I supposed to study and work in peace??? The old library used to have quiet space, I think on the 3rd floor. This new building is massive and beautiful, but is more of an activity center than a place to do work in. Libraries are the place where children learn about being quiet and indoor voices. There is nothing quiet about any space in the whole building. And there are hardly any study tables. This library has been open for a while now, I genuinely hope there are some construction plans to remodel sections into quiet spaces WITH TABLES. I’m so disappointed that I have to drive Elsewhere for a simple place to do work.

Really beautiful library, but I feel like the use of space isn't optimal for such a large building. I tried to go there to study, but there aren't really proper desks or tables set up, except for the 2nd floor... But the 2nd floor is just for children only, so the furniture is small. I was really hoping this would be a proper library. It definitely has potential at least

This library is breathing takingly beautiful and filled with a large variation of books. I went there to study for the day however and was disappointed with the limited places to sit down with your laptop.

There shouldn't be, no.
I wear a mask so I wouldn't know. I don't get smells through my mask 😷

Hello, AARP Tax-Aide volunteers plan to assist taxpayers beginning February 22, 2021, but due to COVID-19, the tax preparation processes will change and are still being finalized. The processes will be different, as AARP will eliminate or at least heavily minimize in-person contact with taxpayers. AARP will use available technologies like email, document scanning and storage, and video meetings to keep taxpayers and tax preparers safe. We do expect AARP will be providing services out of the Winter Park Library, but again, that will be with a minimum of taxpayer-tax preparer contact. Exact days and times are not yet finalized. Please contact the Library at 407-623-3300 x 3 if you have additional questions. Thank you!
