I live in this Citrus Hills development. Spent 3 years flying from Illinois to search for my retirement home. Very quiet, not touristy, and Inverness and Crystal River are short drives to shopping and resturants.

Lived here 20+ years ...so yeah I like it. Most of the folks are wonderful ... sure there's always a few bumps when there are many people involved but overall this has been a good time ... maybe perspective is based on attitude !!!

Do you allow fences to be erected for people who have dogs. If yes what are the restrictions/requirements. I read that Canterbury Lake Estates (CLE) recommends that the HOA rules be read prior to purchasing a home how do I obtain those docs?

To my knowledge you would have to contact the HOA on site. Im not 100% but my family members who live there are not allowed to have a fence.. Just a pool covering screen room etc.
