This could have easily been a 1 star review for me;however, this review is reflective of Nathan’s commitment to putting the customer first. My original visit was a 1 star experience for a simple battery replacement. The representatives at the time lacked any customer service and even after purchasing a battery from them, they basically said I should install it because I should know how to and there was only two of them at the store. This would have been a valid answer if it was busy and they didn’t both proceed to go get snacks at the store next door and stand behind me eating them as I replaced my battery. One colleague even said to the other that they hate replacing batteries as I am literally doing the job they should have been doing a few feet away. It is also worth mentioning that the car is a Honda Civic so there is no complex battery replacement that requires removal of other parts to access. Needless to say a customer service survey was filled out with AutoZone using the receipt and I was satisfied simply never returning to this location ever again as a repeat customer. Nathan turned this all around and actually called to follow up about what happened. He also offered to compensate me for the inconvenience if I came back in and gave me plenty of time options when he would be in the store. Nathan is the reason this store has the 5 star reviews it does and I hope he continues to push the same level of customer service he provides to the remainder of his team. Stellar job on his part and I feel confident returning to this location with a manager like him.
