My mother spent some rehab time at Palm Garden of Ocala. The experience was better than anything I expected. The staff members were kind and attentive and she would talk about them like they were all her new best friends. As a family member, I appreciated the regular communication on the progress she was making. I would highly recommend Palm Garden for anyone who needs rehab services while recovering from an accident or surgery.

After being released from the hospital I was sent to Palm Garden of Ocala. I was received there with a lot of care and thoughtfulness. I had fallen and torn something in my hip and also had a bed wound from the hospital. I received excellent wound care over the course of my two months there. When I left the wound had been cared for properly and healed. As for my tear and my hip not broken but a tear it was worked on by the physical therapist and occupational therapist so that I could walk out of there. I'm still slowly finishing getting better. I'm now getting around on a cane and occasionally on a walker. But I wouldn't have gotten that far without their excellent help. The physical therapist I had was exceptional. The other staff nurses and the other caretakers were good too. My only complaint would be the food and sometime they lacked the staff at night due to shortages and Staffing. Otherwise everything was good. I'd recommend them to anyone.

I currently work at at PG and although I have no problems trashing my employers I have nothing bad to say. Most LTC facilities problems are always staffing related (lack there of) here they go above and beyond to ensure they have the most people possible through bonuses and incentives. Previous facilities would have no problem cutting every possible corner to save a buck, not here. Great place to work š staff actually have family members here so that should tell you everything

My brother's been there one day. No AC, no fans and the staff ignores his needs. Trying to get him back in the hospital so he can receive professional care again. Wouldn't put a dog in here.

8pm they lock the doors. There's a bell you can ring after hours, the trick is getting someone to answer it. If your in by 8pm you can stay til 10pm.
My husband's aunt has developmental disabilities do the admit people like this .
