A nice facility with modern equipment that's well kept and super clean. Lots of different things to do on the property too.

My family and I have been going to Fairfax County Providence Rec Center for 6 years (mostly for swimming) and we can all agree that it’s truly a wonderful place for fitness and fun. I’m not the kind of person who regularly writes reviews but I really wanted to recognize the extraordinary work of Susan Perez, a swimming instructor at this Rec Center. Susan Perez first taught my daughter about 6 years ago, and has gotten to work with our entire family since. Her work has helped my daughter improve tremendously since her first swimming lesson. In fact, my family of four members are comfortable swimming since taking lessons with her. Most of all, I am incredibly impressed with Susan’s dedication and passion for teaching swimming, even after all of these years. I also admire how she teaches swimmers of all ages, from young children to older adults, with the same motivation and enthusiasm from the morning to late night. I hope the Rec Center will recognize the exceptional work of instructors like her, and that she will continue to teach this lifesaving skill to other aspiring swimmers.

Great Rec center with indoor pool. We went for summer rec swim meet; kids 6 to 14 compete in 25 and 50 meter races. Center also has racquetball, dance, reading areas, and more.

You are not required to join in order to go in there. You can pay each time as you go. They do however have deal such as purchase x number amount of pass or yearly. Look out for their $30 for 30 days deal. Usually that follow by another promotion. You can join in person at the recreation center.
Providence was open today; plenty of cars in the lot. I was taking a walk in the park next to it to see if the stream valley was flooding (it was doing fine).
This rec center does not. Audrey Moore, Lee district, or Springhill rec center would be the the closest ones with basketball courts
I think they use a proprietary algorithm to come up with random times. It's completely unpredictable.
