City put a lien on an old property after my fiancé took his name off of it. They held up our home sale and tried to make us pay for it even after we gave them all the information and proof that the infraction and resulting lien occurred after he removed himself from the property. After still insisting we need to pay we copied an attorney and pointed out that their case would not stand up in the court of law. They finally removed his name after they realized we would not let them bully us into paying someone else’s fines.
Labrador love and loyalty
There very rude and love to argue and come on your property uninvited and take pics

Heads up!! Out of stater or whomever owns vacant property no "fines" for them nor do they have to maintain property. Only here!!!! So hope trees from these "peoples empty lots with trees" do not fall on your property!! And thank God the three that fell on ours did not ruin the pool cage.

Horrible. Cape coral is not a town for hard working young people. The codes are made to keep the working class out with their policy regarding commercial/work vehicles and the entire city in general was designed for a decaying generation of geriatrics.
