Every time you call there no one answers the phone. And I believe this is the only prison in Florida after you are approved for visitation you have to call them. And set up a visit if you don't call them and you show up to visit you will be turned around disgusting

I sent two Visitation forms and have still have not been put on a list yet in I have no back ground I called in they say they have not received it but also I didn’t even get my forms back so who got them than I believe they lying 🤥

There are new communication avenues available now. The Inmates have the ability to email their family via JPAY. The phone system is through Securus and takes about 4 weeks to be approved. Hope this helps
My fiancee was at the south florida reception center which I was told is a holding place til he's transferred to the facility he will be staying at to do the remainder of the sentence so why this facility? Isn't this facility pretty much the same?

Yes and no..... Its a permanent camp to some and a holding facility to others. Its like that cause its a Reception center.

Once you're an approved visitor go on the website cfrc. Then click on the visitation hours box on the next screen stroll down till you see the visitation form one is in English one in Spanish fill out and submit must have it done by Wednesday 5pm. Wait for the confirmation box to pop up

You can call CFRC and ask who his classification officer is, they will answer pretty much all your questions.
Go to Vonage.com pick a plan and they will ship you the box to hook up to your WiFi cable box or you don't really need it at all you can download the app on your smart phone set your account up once you have established lished a phone number and I. The settings gs you can do a roll over to ring your cell Everytime that the vonage number is called your cell phone will ring.
Someone I know had been there over a month but says no visits or calls until he's moved to his permanent camp and he wont know what that is for 20+ more days. Does that sound right? I wondered if he had already gotten in more trouble while there?

That's usually correct. It can take up to 6 weeks for processing. You can always write and he can do the same.

Call the Institution and speak to someone in Classification. If they are not able to assist you can always contact the county courthouse they should have a copy of those records

Only 5 photos can be sent in an envelope with a single stamp at a time, and often times a facility will only allow 3-5 photos

there’s an app called vine link on your smartphone and you put in your sons information and it tracks him and you get a text message anytime he’s transferred. i got like my whole family on there...ITS GREAT !!

According to the officer I spoke with at CFRC, you must mail your son a copy of your phone bill. Once your son gets approved by the facility he can set up the account with your phone number. I Have not had any a-communication withmy son yet...it has been almost a month. Best wishes to you.

If they are being released from CFRC the time differs; depending on how busy the Captain on duty is. The Classification Department will advise you that releases are made after 10am.

This was/is a new rule that came from top Administration. The Individual Institutionds do not make these decisions. I would suggest you contact your local representatives and make a complaint.
