What a great group of people. From Dr. Ronzo all the way down to the receptionists. Everyone was polite, professional and helpful. Nothing went unexplained.

Was in a tremendous amount of pain for months. Went to BioSpine. They were wonderful, friendly, effient. Had my surgery at their surgery center (very nice) woke up and had no pain. No medication needed. I felt wonderful. They sent out nurses every day to change bandages and check on me. Also they sent out physical therapist to check and give info on recovery

To make a new patient appointment everything is smooth, trying to make a follow up appointment is nearly impossible, I will be making an appointment else where I can’t fully trust a place where you can’t make something as simple as an appointment when you call you just get transfer from in person to the next to then end up leaving a voice mail

Are you in the AARP United Healthcare PPO Provider Network?
Yes, the BioSpine Institute has what is known as Medicare Deemed Status Accreditation, meaning our facility has complied with the highest standards established by Medicare. In addition, BioSpine has successfully treated literally thousands of Medicare patients.
Unfortunately, BioSpine is not credentialed with Medicaid but we do accept the vast majority of other plans to include Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Humana, Medicare as well as many other plans.
2 teaching doctors with many years of experience compared to a pool of about 15 doctors.
They took my UnitedHealthcare.
Dr. Ronzo did my laminectomy in May of 2018. The reviews are off the chart compared to any doctors in the country. Always do research on the doctor you want and if your insurance doesn't cover it, get an insurance that does. You only have one spine n neck. just my opinion. Like my son always tells me "do your research". I don't trust any other doctor.
Yes do we accept and we are fully in-network with all Blue Cross Blue Shield plans.
No prior diagnosis needed and in most cases no referral needed. Most of our patients have been dealing with some level of neck or back pain and over time their pain has began to negatively impact their day to day activities and they begin to look for answers. Neck and back injuries (cervical, thoracic, lumbar, & SI joint) is what our physicians treat and have so for their entire medical careers.
Thank you for your question. Yes, we accept both BCBS and Medicare. Please call 813-443-2108 and speak to one of our patient concierges. They can perform a benefit review to determine any out of pocket costs.
I say take him there so that they can do a x-ray.
Anything with back and neck
Yes they do take workmans comp. Had a disc replacent there × 2 and 2 radial tears plus a bulge. Had to hv 3 separate surgies all in a 1 0 day period. I am pain free now and no longer hv to rely on pain pills just to get through day. I went to their competitor and they missed a herniated disc and did not even address. Don't be fooled by all of the other laser spine place in Tampa's advertising. I felt like hearded sheep. You are just a number in dollars for them. I was treated like gold at Bio Spine
They take Aetna or Florida blue
You should contact them but they told me they would. My insurance paid 100% of mine.
No they currently only allow the patient in, visitor have to stay in the waiting room.
Laminectomy
No. You must go to an independent imaging center. I recommend Park Place MRI or Tower Radiology.
Absolutely, we accept the vast majority of Medicare plans, along with Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Humana and many others.. We strongly recommend if you have any insurance related questions to contact us directly at 813-443-2108 option 1 and we can perform an insurance review and explain exactly how your specific insurance plan works with our practice. Many patients ask Why BioSpine....and the short answer is if you are looking for an experienced surgeons that perform high-level minimally invasive spine surgery....give us a call.

They take most medical insurance. If you call them you will get a concierge to handle all your questions and needs. They are fantastic
It would be best to make an appointment to confirm what procedure you need and based on your insurance.
Yes we are in the Florida Blue network and would be considered IN NETWORK for all services.
