I got my dog back from these guys and. It even 48 hours later he has died. I called them and asked them what they gave him, they had very different stories and was just out right rude.

one of the ladies who works here is very rude. we were barely able to even explain why we were there before she barged in the door and immediately started yelling at us and acting like we were in the wrong for trying to help these kittens that we found. she yelled at us the whole time we were there until we just gave up and left.

If they have any, their mostly ceased animals and they have to take the owner to court. That's a long process. They had two back in 2019. Not sure what they have now.

If they are in need of Employees, YES they do Hire but they Rely mostly on Volunteers!!! You would have to Call before going but they do go through Employees quickly. I worked for the Lake City Animal Shelter and if you could SEE what goes on Early in the A.M. before they Opened I seriously think that you would change your mind... You Honestly should give it Serious Thought before applying!!!!
You will either have to Call Live Oak Animal Control or go up there, they don't last long that's a Fact!!
Adoptions are $15. You get $10 back once you provide proof of spay/neuter as animals here are unvetted.
Supposedly they are no kill shelter I adopted a girl cat from them a month ago turned out it was a boy cat I took it to get fixed and it was already fixed so Lucy is now a Louie ohyeah and he had a chip they never ran it why do we tip our animals when no one ever checks
