I'd suggest to just go in immediately and show them the torn contact lens. If your contacts haven't arrived yet, they should be able to give you another trial lens. If you aren't ordering lenses from them, they may charge for the lens. It may even be possible to get a trial pair from a different brand. You may also want to ask if the brand that made the trial lenses has a history of tearing. By the way would you be willing to edit your question to share which brand it was? Would you be willing to describe what happened? Personally, I'd like to know so I can avoid the brand if they are going to tear! You have very valuable info for others that wear contacts! I really would appreciate it if you could share more details. My next appointment is in May & I'll be needing a trial pair too & torn lenses can *hurt*!!! If you can't - that's okay! My experience there was pleasant. The staff was very nice there. I would recommend them, especially if you're looking for a good deal.
