SCAM!! Please read prior reviews before applying!! If I could give no stars I would but unfortunately i have too.. On march 23rd i received an email about low income apartments becoming available immediately. I called over the phone and asked if it was true i had called prior in the past and was told everything was booked. I spoke to a women & she said yes i asked her what i needed, she asked me how many adults i said 1 she stated theres a small fee & that i could apply online that i didn’t have to come in person (since im in NJ) i then made her aware my lease ends in July if that’s something that could be done if there was a possibility of me getting an apartment before then if not id be homeless with 2 kids she said yes that they had availability. I went forward with the application and saw there was a fee of $90 i paid i was unable to finish the application because everything errored and i had to log back in another day when i log back in that same day i get a notification stating that about $600 was taking out of my account which I couldn’t afford unless i was getting the actual apartment I would use that as a down payment. I applied for low income apartments because i dont have much& im a single mom so that much to me is alot I decided to look them up & go threw the reviews where i saw i was not the only one & people were saying they were being scammed out of almost $700 & being denied keeping customers money just taking large sum amount application fees i called & spoke to a women again I explained what happened and that i wish not to move forward with the application she said she understood & that my application would be withdrawn i said thank you & that was it. Now fast forward 6 months later i get a call from a man saying i MUST pay all the fees even tho my application was withdrawn & i have no apartment nor did i receive a call stating something was available from march to now!! Making the reviews true i made him aware of the situation & what happened i also let him know my bank investigated/asset the situation at that time therefore i was being refunded because they spoke to someone who confirmed. He said he would call me back he was going to figure out who i spoke too “6 months ago” & call back in which he just did & told me it didn’t matter & im obligated to fee them almost $700 for an apartment i dont even have with them.
