Rockhounds! Mineralized rock with crystal pockets at bridge rock piles and washed up on South East beach.

Most times it's crowded so go early am late pm around sunset
Absolutely! Love that place I grew up down there and now bring my children down there
Not on the causeway itself but in the parking on either side of the bridge where people hangout, fish etc I'd assume a grill would be fine. Have never taken one myself. π
Yes you can night fish- stop by the sheriffs office and apply for a night fishing permit. The sheriffs office is located right next to Walgreens Curlew and alt 19
Yes
Its better to go on the left side to swim because there it is a more sandy area and the right side to fish. To the best of my knowledge there isn't a spot to rent beach chairs or umbrellas, However you can rent kayaks and go out to some islands not far from the beach. There are a couple of restaurants further down the beach and on the road before entering.
I'll be honest.its not. There are signs al over but I took my dog and I didn't have a problem. Police saw him there and didn't complain or kick me out. Had a good time.
I didn't see any when I was there. Pedal bikes or cars only.
Honeymoon Island State Park closes at 6 today. ( closing time depends on sunset) the Dunedin Causeway doesn't actually close.

It's all good! I've seen plenty people enjoying the water there.
It's been good lately, but you never know. It's still offshore, if the winds shift it could come right back.
No there is no Red Tide at all there. It is pretty and clean.
Red tide measurements records light but, dead fish have arrived. Dead fish report via head of state park (early this week), measurement via county this morning.
