Service writer approached me 1-hours and a half after putting my vehicle in the shop to inform me the vehicle needed new tires. After I refused, he proceeded to tell me that the technician “slashed” one of my tires while putting on the lift and I would be receiving a new tire no charge. 2- and a ½ hours later I was informed my vehicle was completed. What he did not tell me was that he also damaged the wheel. As a 40-year veteran working in the Material Handling Industry as an Operations Manager and General Manager I have learned “Honesty is ALWAYS the best policy”!
