I went in to pick out my new frames today, in advance of my Friday appt. There was noone in the store, and they told me I must wear a mask? No thank you, you will never have my business. Ridiculous! Plenty of other vision places understand that masks are irrelevant and useless, will earn my business

Do not go here! My initial visit was with Dr. Clarence Russel, O.D. for dry eyes and an annual checkup. He told me that because of my dry eyes I could never wear contacts again or I would go blind! He also referred me to an ophthalmologist within the same practice as he could not prescribe Xiidra because he wasn't with my insurance company. I saw the ophthalmologist who said I likely could wear contacts again and I definitely wasn't going blind, prescribed the Xiidra and had me come back in two weeks. I went back and she confirmed I could definitely wear contacts again and referred me back to Dr. Russel for the contact lens fitting. He, again, said I could probably never wear contacts and told me to come back in a month where he would make the final determination about contacts. I cannot fathom why two doctors within the same practice can't get on the same page! I subsequently went to another practice for an additional opinion where I saw both an ophthalmologist and optometrist. Both confirmed I could wear contacts, definitely wasn't going to go blind, and thought it was crazy that Dr. Russel came up with that diagnosis! Dr. Russel clearly has no idea what he is doing, not to mention he was not at all personable and did not make me feel like a valued patient - the ophthalmologist wasn't personable either. I should also mention that, thanks to Dr. Russel’s faulty diagnosis, I spent a large amount of money in their office ordering new glasses and prescription sunglasses that I didn’t need!

When I needed an eye exam without insurance I tried this office out because of their prices and was pleased with my experience. Dr. Russell was kind and helpful, the staff as well; I called ahead of time for help understanding the cost of my prescription before buying frames and the staff was very informative.

Rude and unresponsive staff. Waited 30 minutes with an appointment and told they don’t accept my insurance.
