Tough climb for me. Lost the blazes halfway up and had to bushwhack up the rest of the mountain. Guthooks wasn't helpful. Pretty mountain though. Lots of porcupines.

Added some photos that are at the powerline intersection which you is on the AT by Peter's mountain trail head. It's one of the best views in the area. I highly encourage you to make the longer trip out to this overlook

It's on the other side of the river. The Peter's Mountain Road trailhead is south of Halifax. There's another trailhead at the base of the mountain, at the east end of the Clark's Ferry Bridge, across th RR tracks from the park & ride.
