Enjoyed a calm and pleasant ride on the ferry to the other side of the river.

I am a lifelong resident of Pennsylvania and I never knew about these historical ferries. I was delighted when my friend and I discovered the ferries on a recent road trip. The ferries weren't in the water yet and still in dry dock but there was volunteers there getting it ready for a spring launch. Two ferries: the Falcon & the Roaring Bull travel back & forth from Millersburg across the Susquehanna River to Liverpool. I hope to come back this summer and take a trip in history.

My friends and I took our motorcycles across the river and it was a really neat experience.

The Millersburg Ferry is open 11-5 today. Check their Facebook page for daily schedules or call to see if they are open.
The ferry is currently only open on weekends. That may change as the season progresses. I suggest following them on Facebook for current info. They are about 2.5 miles from the Ned Smith Center.
When the spring thaw occurs!
