I have been here going on 2 years. Rent is decent for a 2/2, but HONESTLY NOT EVEN WORTH IT AT ALL! Management is new and the only thing you see them fix is move in ready apts. Any requests or maintenance is not their priority or on the to do list. Along with NO pest control, no laundry room, no type of incentive to tenants just 4walls and a window. Had a broken window for 6+ months, broken kitchen light but was told after they bought 2 non working lights , they don’t fix kitchen lights, air conditioners, leaks, garbage disposals, broken stove eye that sparked, shower that’s moldy dispite cleaning, scrubbing and bleaching it, the lost goes on. Just my personal experience if it’s a decision between homelessness and a roof over your head I can understand, but just choosing these on purpose, DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY,TIME OR ENERGY…..You WILL regret it. Smh….there goes my deposit.

This review is to be realistic as possible with the understanding everyone will have different experiences. I recently just moved out in November 2021 and I cannot say that I have any regrets. I've lived in Shadow Pines for 3 years and this property has been through like 4 property managements which none made any commitments in up keeping the apartments or caring about the tenants. When you need an issue fixed they are not there to follow through. Even pest control is supposed to be included in the rent and they don't even come by to do that. My issue is the fact that I just moved out and have been reaching out for a month now about my security deposit and have not heard anything back & realistically probably never will; possibly all because I chose not to renew my lease. I finally live in an apartment where the property is upkept, leasing staff answers when you call and there to answer questions and concerns when needed. That was not the case here, and I believe Abraham is the point of contact and very unprofessional. If you're looking for a place I do not recommend. Find some place where the property managers really care, where you'll actually be getting your money's worth. I don't care how much renovations they fix up, these people are slumlords that will rip you off and only call you if you don't pay your rent, that is his only concern.
