Dropped off two disposable cameras to develop and although they said it could take a week, I got the scans back the next day. They look great and it was only around $16 per camera. Will be coming back!

This is a tiny & funky store selling used classic film cameras & lenses of ALL kinds, and film & developing. Happy & friendly. Expert advice.

It's very interesting place with lots of interesting people coming in and out. Vintage camera geeks. A wonderful collection of old cameras - but if you're going to attempt to get a fair price on your old equipment know the used price and negotiate. Haggle. Boutique processing of many films and formats.

I bought a lens here but had some questions that I asked one of the staff. He tried to double the price of an un-tagged cheap lens over a nicer and more expensive one (that I was also considering buying) of the same focal length, because it is a faster lens. I pointed out that there is another of the same cheaper lens with a $50 price tag on it, to which he said “oh it’s probably because it’s old stock, but I’ll still honor that sticker.” I knew that $50 was a fair deal for that model lens, not $100, so I still bought the lens tagged at $50. Staff was overall nice, just be cautious before going here and know your stuff.

Hi Jami, Unfortunately we don't work on cameras. I'm sure there is a great camera repair shop in Australia that can service your Miranda. Look around the bigger cities like Melbourne and Sydney and you'll find a great shop. best Ken @ shot on film

I agree with Greg above. They usually respond faster on Instagram. You can also share pictures of the gear you have and they'll give you an estimate if there's something they will be interested in. Their Instagram handle is @shotonfilmstore

I have a Pentax ME Super that needs a new flash boot/shoe, and I'd also like to get an external flash. Do you do repairs, or can you suggest someone who does? Or could I buy a replacement shoe and install it myself? Thank you. Rick Gifford

The Pentax ME super, like many SLRs with electronic shutters are a lot more complicated than the earlier all mechanical SLRs. So, I'd suggest against opening it up unless you've done a few before. As for repairs I'd wait for a response from the store themselves. You will surely get a faster response from the Instagram page for the store than here - look for shotonfilmstore on Instagram Good luck with your ME super
