Awesome time going on the train and watching the Hole in the Head Gang rob the train and have a shoot out with the Marshall's.

Great for young kids- if we go again it will be winter or fall season as summer was way too hot for it.

Please contact the museum to ask for availability :)
Actually, the museum is the train ride, and yes, you would be able to get a wheelchair on the train with no problems!
The whole event lasts about 3.5 hours from departure. You should arrive at least 45 min. prior to scheduled departure (boarding will begin 30 min. prior to departure) No alcohol on the train, but available during dinner.
Approximately an hour and a half, from boarding to disembarking. It's all good, every klickity klat, (sound from the tracks). It's old fashioned and yet delightful.
Is it air conditioned? (The train ride)
Shorter than the normal train ride. Instead of going all the way to Willow and back, which is 6 1/2 miles, we only go to our crossing at Dickey Road. If I had to put an estimate on time, I would say about 25 minutes. However, if you call the ticket office they would be able to give you better and more up to date information.
No dogs. Maybe if it's a service dog. I didn't see any when I went.
Florida Gulf Coast
Yes. Online or at the ticket office.
I agree with Theresa, Google it. Sometimes I do know that they hold events such as a Thomas the Train event that I attended once. So Googling their ticket information along with a phone number and giving them a call to find out if they're running like normal or not would also be a good idea.
Already bought tickets!
Adults 14.oo special days 17.oo or more kids cost less
Yes
Yes, there is a decent sized model train that is pretty nice. And the standard train rides do have a snackbar on them. There are also themed rides/tours available from time that have meals.
No, dinner is served at the stop, in the tents. There are restrooms On the train. Not sure about the BYO.
Sorry it didn't work out as planned. Sometimes though, special events have different pricing than general admission.
Yes, they had a food stand that took cash and credit. It was hamburgers, hot dogs, fries type fare
Depends. Events can have higher prices, but general admission for my family was $14 for adults, $10 for kids. Their website is www.frrm.org for more information.
I know this is coming late, but we have autistic people and wheelchairs all the time! The volunteers and staff would be more than happy to have you aboard!
General admission is $14 adults and $10 children. Ride is about 1.5 hours and includes a stop in Willow to visit the display area.
No fee to go there when there is no event you can pay to go on train rides events are subject to their own admission fee we paid around $90 after all fees for 4 of us to go to day out with Thomas check the Florida railroad museum Web site for events and pricing information
From the website. The train will stop for our annual Easter Egg Hunt in Willow. Lots of activities are included in the ticket price. Mr. Bunny himself will be on hand to greet all the children
They have day out with Thomas going on now and cotton tail special at the end of March I don't see anything yet on their site for April you can see the museum any time and ride the train on weekends day out with Thomas is really cool for the kids
