Lovely residents but a overall mentally draining environment. In regards of the American House residents they're truly well intentioned with their needs and hold a vast amount of tolerance for mediocrity. The issue lies within the hierarchy of staffing. Working here for an extended amount of time is bound to send anyone into a mental and emotional unbalance.

How come American House Senior Living Communities (Zephyrhills) puts on a good front of being "professional" but are far from it! Today I had a family emergency (my mom was in a car accident) the director said to me "She is not important" how can a director say something so harsh ! And let's not leave out the director of nursing treat her Caucasian staff so bad compared to the African American staff ! They do not put their residents first AT ALL! They really do put up a good front !

Since the beginning, the administration and staff (especially Keaton) at AH have been there for our entire family. No matter the situation, they always have my parents' best interest at heart. They've been at AH since 2018 and have transitioned from an apartment into the Memory Care unit where they are thriving! After a horrible experience at a facility in Brandon, we feel so blessed to have found a home at AH!
