Typical raciest as* police. Was dropping off groceries and got the cops called on me within 2 min. Cop goes. U get it , your black, with dreads on a farm what do u expect. Not enforcing traffic statutes enough; terrible. Needs immediate detail. Speeders and tailgators on N Military Trl and Alternate A1A. Stupid driver of plate "948 MPH" tailgated twice as if magnetized. Sociologists should study scofflaws here for dissertations. Update (8/27/2022) Tailgated by rushing compact SUV going >10-15 mph faster than limit on southbound US-1 near Martin County line. So stupidly dangerous that I yelled out window what was she thinking though she didn't care and accelerated more. Why does my neck have to break for her appointment/rush home? Later: Dimwit female driver of blue Mini Cooper with plate EPE D67 (?) speeds quickly through Walmart parking lot at night, turning without stopping or slowing until almost crashing. She then yells that I instead should learn how to drive though I went very slow and even signal (not her though!) so this person was probably inebriated or obnoxious—extremely unfair to me. Dispatcher later was combative; he was incredulous that I'd report an erratic drunk but that's a supervisor's hiring at work. You take information and investigate—it doesn't have to be an argument with the caller. Reckless drivers are above laws here and across the county apparently due to prevalence and resistance of pursuit. Rarely, akin to miracles, have I seen enforcement of the category. I don't understand how opportunity foments aggressive driving in confined stretches and no remarkable financial incentive—dumb, evil people. Candide or something: Driving publicly is neither enjoyable nor challenging nor do I enhance so why should I.
