Banfield is a awful place to take your pet. They have hundreds of dollars of hidden fees. They will prescribe shots and medications that are unnecessary and will harm your pets health when given all at once like they intended to do. Walk away from this business

This company is a joke stay away! The vets never look at your pets medical history or read their charts. Seems they don’t even read the yearly bloodwork. We took our dog here for years and deeply regret it. We recently brought our dog in because he was losing weight and were told to try different dog foods. Two weeks later we took him back for another look because he was still losing weight. They had informed us they never ran a blood panel that they were suppose to at the last visit and would do the bloodwork. The bloodwork came back abnormal but we were told there’s not really a reason for concern and to just take more test at our leisure and keep trying different dog food. A few days after that visit we rushed our dog to the Jupiter ER and were told he had cancer that consumed his whole liver and spread to his lungs. He passed away 3 days later. The ER only had to do one test to find this while Bandfield wanted us to do multiple. Bandfield should have caught this in his yearly bloodwork and taken it seriously but they brushed us off. Now we have an empty home when this issue could of been addressed a long time ago. Very disappointed in this company if you see your pets as family take them to a real vet where they provide quality care not just dental cleanings.

You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?

Banfield Pet Hospital | Sep 11, 2020
Banfield Pet Hospital | Sep 11, 2020

Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
