Yes. Labor Day is an official County holiday and all Lee County Library System Libraries will be closed for Labor Day. We have regular hours on Saturday, however.
You can access the Lee County Library System catalog of materials on our website. Choose "Search the Catalog" from the options in the left hand column. From the catalog you can see the locations of a particular title by clicking "Availability." "Check Shelf" means the item is available at that specific location. You can request materials by clicking "Place Request." Please enter your library card number (no spaces) and your PIN (last 4 digits of the phone number you have registered with us). In the absence of a parent/guardian, we can offer to issue a Child/Teen Limited card, which limits check out to two items, and is available with Name ID only. In order to be issued a full Child/Teen card, for children under 18: Parent or legal guardian who accompanies the child or teen shows ID for proof of address and owes less than $10 on his/her own library account AND Name ID, such as birth certificate, insurance card, school ID, official school schedule, report card or letter from school for the child.
Patrons are expected to follow the CDC’s social distancing guidelines of staying 6 feet apart from others that are not in your party. Face coverings are recommended, but not required.

The South County Regional Library offers Baby Rhyme Time (Birth to Preschool) on assorted Mondays from 10 am-10:45 am. Family Storytime (Birth to 5yrs) is offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 am -10:30 am. Preschool Storytime (Birth to Preschool) is offered on Wednesdays from 10:00 am - 10:45 am.
