For Spanish speaking people: My name is Tatiana: I was scheduled to have my bariatric surgery at WPB, but God directed us to St. Pete where Dr. Alexander Ramirez is located. A surgery without any complications: on the contrary, he found something else and repaired it. In better hands, could not be. Dr. Alexander is a person with a lot of experience, very professional, very simple and kind. I recommend Dr. Ramirez to anyone considering this type of surgery. I see the hand of God in not allowing my surgery to take place in the city where I live. Certainly the 4 hour drive to St. Pete was totally worth it. Thank you Dr. Ramirez!

Dr. Ramirez took great care of me when I was in the hospital in Tallahassee, Florida. I was sad to see that he left the area. However, If I have to have another abdominal surgery, I will go back to him. Best surgeon ever, as well as a beautiful human being. May God Bless you Dr. Ramirez.

Dr. Ramirez is the most gentle, kind surgeon I have ever met. His bedside manner is second to none. I have had 2 surgeries with him in the last year and both times he did an amazing job. The last surgery I had with him I have had zero pain from the surgery. Not once did I have to take pain meds. He is brilliant. I recommend him 10 out of 10!

I had mine within 2 weeks. Depends on if ur in the program or doing it privately. I did the program and because they'd been following my progress for 6 months, all the insurance stuff was handled. Had surgery on 08/01/19 (423lbs). Today I'm 233.6! Ramirez is AMAZING!

Hi Steve, Thank you for contacting us! I have been performing Achalasia surgery since 2009 back in Colombia, I do not have the exact number of procedures that I did for Achalasia but I am very familiar with the procedure and the technique, now I do robotic surgery with all advantages of more precise movements and articulation of instruments with enhanced 3 D visualization.
