Dr. Evers has been seeing me for about the last 10+ months because my original pain management doctor retired. I was hesitant, anxious & nervous about going to another pain management clinic. I had nothing to lose by going to his free consultation - which in of itself is unheard of. I only had something to gain and I’m so grateful I gained this doctor and staff I can assure you the minute you meet Dr. Evers & The Girls at the front desk , they will NEVER make you feel like you’re just there for profit - They treat you like the human being you are He has proven that he puts his patients over profits , that is unheard of these days. It truly is a testament to the ethics , morales & character he has & takes his oath very seriously. Dr. Evers really takes his time and listens There is never any judgment and if I complain of something new rather than what I am there for, he takes the time to research it and discuss it with me I have never met a Doctor who treats you with such compassion , kindness , empathy & patience. And an added bonus of him being extremely intelligent. I can’t thank you enough Dr. Evers & The Girls enough for allowing me to create such an important relationship & getting me on the path of being able get my life back The way you treat someone can make or break your progress and I can tell you that even though being 100% Pain free does not exist,- I at least have the comfort of knowing I have a caring, wonderful, respectable & very kind compassionate Dr. & staff - That helps your pain just as much as your medication & therapy at times does. ❣

Doctor Evers had taken on my fiance for Severe Pain issues most related to fibromyalgia several months ago. THE Doctor is gradually getting to know her and here symptoms. His approach is gradual but reaffirming. The Doctor is very professional and encouraging.

Dr Evers and His Entire Staff are Absolutely Great! I have been a patient for just about 2 years and I can honestly say not 1 negative experience. His Staff have always gone above and beyond to assist with everything ever asked!! I have never waited to be seen longer than 10 mins. Dr E spends quality time with his patients, never in a rush, and still only wait 10 mins or less...... says to me that they schedule appropriately and do not cram everyone in like sardines!! I wish Dr Evers could be My Primary Care Dr as well! I have nothing bad to say about Dr Evers or "The Girls" bc based on my 2 years of being under his care.......they deserve more than a 5 ☆ rating!

If a patient believes that she/he is a good candidate for treatment with opioids I will evaluate the person in a free face-to-face interview and decide whether I will accept her/him as a patient. Besides the severity of the painful medical condition and the person’s other co-existing medical conditions I also will consider past compliance with prescribed treatment, age, criminal background, etc.. I further will review the medical records from prior treating sources. The purpose of the careful patient selection is to avoid death due to opioids: more than one person in Pinellas County dies every 2 days from an opioid-related overdose. Prescription oipioids are involved in more than a third of the deaths due to opioid overdose. Some patients’ pain can be well controlled with opioids. However, none of my patients on opioids is completely pain-free.
