First time staying at this place. The service from one of the front desk gals was horrible, there was a lady with brown hair in a pony tail that gave bad directions to us first timers on where everything was located. We had to find our rm, the fire pit, and game rm on our own. The other workers were nice but that one lady was very rude. Our Suite was nice with a BEAUTIFUL Scenery and clean. I love how everything is within walking distance. When we slept it got real hot and stuffy. My poor kiddos were crying all night. There was no AC so we had to leave the sliding door open, and the sliding door kept falling off. There were ppl on the beach with fires lit who were really loud and kept us up all night. But I have to say overall we ENJOYED our stay.

I love staying at Surftides mainly for the location. You are right on the beach and the oceanfront rooms are nice with a balcony. They do have some updating to do, like invest in some better mattresses and painting, but all in all it is a comfortable stay. The pool/hot tub are a nice feature as well. Close to everything in Lincoln City, food, shopping, and Chinook. Disliked · Usually when I visit Surftides, the staff go above and beyond to meet expectations and are friendly. This actually is the 1st time I had a negative experience! This visit I had the unfortunate experience by being checked in by a young lady named Emily who not only was unwelcoming, unfriendly, rude and condescending, she also likes to talk about guests behind their backs which I sadly had to witness. I think the new Surftides owners should invest in either training their new employees in customer service skills and proper etiquette or weed out the bad apples as most of the staff are gracious, friendly, and helpful. This will not deter me from booking with them again, I will just hope that I do not have to deal with this staff member again!

We’ve stayed here multiple times, normally 4 stars, not this time around. 2 of the front desk people were very negative. Had something to say about everything, and all was negative. They don’t like the beach or watching the waves, and think weddings on the beach are dumb. Keep your negative comments to yourself, we’re staying on the beach, we obviously enjoy it. Sorry you don’t. The hotel needs to be updated. TVs in the room don’t have a menu, or any streaming capabilities. Small things, but hey, for almost $300/night, they can do better.

Very nice room with fireplace and comfy beds located right along the beach. They were doing a bit of renovating, yet we didn’t experience any inconvenient banging or rerouting. Very fair prices as well and located right near an amazing restaurant called Kylo’s. Truly enjoyed both location, quietness if the hotel and ease of beach walk to get the day started along with a jacuzzi soak. Gym wasn’t open in time for morning use (doesn’t open until 10am) which was a disappointment, yet nothing that would stop us from booking again.

You'll need to drive or take hotel shuttle bus... Or wear walking shoes. I didn't walk as we went to casino in dark cold rainy
They have double king suites with connected rooms, but use the same front door to enter
Yes but you will need to book your time when you check in, sometimes front desk forgets to tell you. Its great because its only your party allowed during that time! Great hot tub!!
