Emergency room receptionist and advice nurses are incompetent and will bully you into leaving them alone despite letting them know you are in a state of medical distress that doesn't require an ambulance. They also do not know the capabilities of their Physicians. I was told by a nurse in the emergency room Department that the doctors at the ER could not order simple tests. That either means the nurse was lying or they have inadequate staff to treat your medical emergencies. Worst care I have ever received or have been a party to, as I used to work for the veterans administration during the really bad times.

Can’t say enough good about ALL of Samaritan staff in LC. I/we have been to the ER, Oncology, Imaging, other various medical visits/clinics & Infusion center many times over the last 6 weeks for my dad (who is local) and not once have we had a sub-par experience. Everyone has been so kind, patient & knowledgeable. I mean, it is weird that I can’t find any complaints. This city is so understaffed everywhere & things seem a bit chaotic (particularly the pharmacies), so I am grateful for fully staffed medical facilities & people that actually seem to like their jobs. In the event of an emergency, I just may have to travel from the valley to have better treatment. Thank you everyone for all you do! We literally couldn’t survive with out you <3

This is the best hospital I’ve ever been to. Judgement free zone and they just take really good care of you. no matter what you’re going through. I’m very thankful to have Samaritan close by.

This is the worse hospital I have ever had the misfortune of visiting. The doctors are not very attentive and most the nurses and doctors lack empathy and respect for their patients. I was left in the room for well over an hour in Agonizing …
