Traveling in the MKE areea for work and had a craving for chile rellenos. Guanajuato was on several "best..." lists. Bay View area had a vibe of inner-city revitalization. The food lived up to it's billing and the service was exceptional. I used to live in area with a concentrated Mexican immigrant population and have had "home cooking." This place has authentic dishes, as well as what is palatable for most of us gringos. I also have to add I travel with a service dog. The staff was very accomodating and even brought her water, along with mine. I've been to Guanajuato each of my last two visits to the Cream City and it is now on my list of must haves on subsequent trips.

Sweet and sour mix in the margaritas. Under seasoned pork and beef dishes. Whipped guacamole. If these things don’t bother you when you go to a Mexican restaurant then this may be right up your alley

My moms favorite restaurant!! If you haven’t tried, put it on your list! Tacos with a generous helping of meat, delicious and not crunchy steak at all!!

Great place to go have great food and a good time with family and friends. We love this Mexican restaurant. It's always clean with great service and delicious, authentic Mexican food. Their prices are low especially compared with other Mexican restaurants around the area. Definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone.
