I called on 03/17 to confirm if they have eastern sunrise pebbles and they said yes they for $7 for 40lbs. I called again to confirm before my long drive and they confirmed again $7 for 40lbs, keeping in mind I'm buying large quantities. Next day I drove an hour to buy it and the guy in the office tells me it's actually $7 for 35 lbs so I was like not a big deal. I go outside to talk to the guy who's bugging the rocks and he tells me they only put 26 lbs only. I go back to the office to get clarification and they tell me " I got wrong information ", eventhough I called twice to confirm before I drive two hours in the current high gas prices. Basically they want to charge me 35% more than what I was quoted. They didn't even Offer to adjust the price or even Offer an apology. This here I call bait & switch and bad business. I'll make sure everyone I know is aware of how they do business.

I sent the measurements along with a photo to Smokey Valley to get a price estimate to put rocks down in an area right next to my driveway. The area was longer on one side than the other because one side ran against the driveway. One side was 46' and the other side was 26' long. Both end pieces measured 18'. Without looking at the picture and seeing the 4 sides, they gave me a price quote for two separate areas. I then went into the store to show a picture of my area and gave the measurements. They also quoted me the same amount. I am not a rock expert so I trusted the amount they said I needed for that space. Once delivered and spread, I noticed that we had WAY too much for the area. When I contacted the store and spoke to the manager, he did not care and said there is nothing he could do about it. Being a small business owner myself, I know the value of customer service and good luck finding it at this store! Now I have to pay someone to come move the extra rocks to another location.
