It's hard to imagine having done our reception anywhere else. Villa Filomena is such a beautiful venue. We hardly had to do any decor of our own because it has such an assured and stylish vibe on its own – we basically just bought flowers and that was that. They were also a dream to work with. Tina, the primary coordinator, was fantastic – always responsive, open, flexible, and supportive. She worked with us through a year-long postponement because of the pandemic and went out of her way to make sure we had the kind of night we wanted. We really cannot recommend working with her and Villa Filomena anymore highly!

The other reviews indicating that "staff" or Tina can be rude are very very true. If I am planning on spending for a nice wedding reception, I really expect someone to (1) want my business, and (2) be nice. The below communication is not the type of thing I expect when trying to book a tour (not even getting to the particulars of what is needed once booked). If it starts off this way, I can only imagine how hard it is to work with her. Of note, the fact that her voicemail is full so you can't leave a message is probably a bad sign.... I am having great experiences with other local venues, so we definitely can see a difference when trying to interact with Tina. Just avoid and go spend your money at a nice venue that also treats you well - its your wedding, make it a special day surrounded by nice people.

I was recently at a wedding here and the bride was treated poorly and called a nasty name from a venue worker named Tina. How terrible! Don't book your wedding here, that's my advice. The whole staff treated them with total disrespect!

As a couple planning our wedding during covid, we made the decision to totally change our plans for the safety of our loved ones. We had a month to plan a whole new ceremony and that’s when we found Tina and Villa Filomena! This was the most beautiful venue by itself which was important to us, as we didn’t have to decorate at all! The courtyard was so dreamy and Tina was on top of everything the whole day keeping me calm and everything running smoothly. I’m so thankful we found this little dream of a place for our day. Everything was perfect!
