I drive by this vet office on a regular basis. Still amazed that they have bright red stop signs in their windows, stopping clients from entering the office with their pets. I was a client of theirs over a year ago. I had to park behind the building and wait for the technician to come to my car and take my senior cat inside for assessment. I have never been allowed inside and honestly, I have no desire to ever patronize this business. I'm so glad a friend recommended Alachua Animal Hospital to me when we rescued our bonded basset pair this Christmas. Each time I take one of our three pets to that office, I am greeted by a smiling, maskless receptionist. I am welcomed in and invited back to the exam room. I am able to speak at length with the technician and the veterinarian, all who are mask free and very friendly. I encourage everyone to find another place to take your fur babies. Obviously, the Vet Center at Millhopper is not interested in getting to know you or your pet.

I cannot give enough praise to the dedicated team of vets and technicians at Hunters Crossing! I've only ever had great experiences bringing my two cats in to see Dr. Ligman. She's very thorough and friendly, and always takes the time to discuss my cats health in detail and answer any and every question I have regarding their care. When my cat needed 6 teeth extracted seemingly out of nowhere, Dr. Ligman was very attentive and explained everything I'd need to know regarding why the teeth needed to come out, and how that would impact my cat. She even went so far as to email me my cats x-rays while on the phone, so I could see exactly what she explained regarding my cats health. I could not have been more pleased with the level of care they gave my sweet girl. I received multiple follow up calls checking on on her health the week following, and was given the option to bring her back into the office at no charge to make sure she was healing properly before a long holiday weekend. Every interaction I have with this team is friendly and thorough, and I never feel like I'm a bother when I call asking extra questions. I am so thankful to have found a vet who truly cares about my cats wellbeing and takes the time to make sure I'm fully educated as a cat mom. Thank you, Dr. Ligman, and to your entire team! <3

Dr. Ligman, and her caring staff have been such an amazing part of our ‘animal’ family. Our bully was so afraid of anyone - but her staff were so accommodating to Gunner, that he fell in love with her. When we adopted our ferret - he would bite everyone! Except, Dr. Ligman! Chippy didn’t want to leave the clinic to come home. I cannot recommend this clinic, and Dr. Ligman enough! They love our babies, as much as we do!
