There is too many things that I like about this place. The trail is amazing with the views, it doesn’t matter if you visit during the day or the afternoon. You get to see the airplanes landing at Oakland Airport. You also get to see the sea and the birds. The squirrels are all over the place and you can observe them from a bench if you like. They are so funny and spontaneous. The park counts with 2 playground areas, one for toddlers and another one for bigger kids. The toddler area used to have a whale and a dolphin with water but they do not longer work. Also it has a dog Park, one for little ones and one for bigger ones. The people of San Leandro is always kind and wonderful.

This was my first time here and I came around 8:30pm ish, but originally I came here looking for the dog park and there didn't seem to be one although Google Maps took me here. Anyway, this place seems really cool, I didn't get to stay for very long since it was cold and windy when I went, but I'd definitely love to come back here at some point. I'd definitely recommend bringing an extra jacket or something since the bay is right there and it can get very windy, but it seems like a good-sized place to walk around with a great view.

Little bit of trash pick up needed but still a nice place with great views of the bay. Nice dog park, love that there is a side for big dogs fenced off from the little dogs.

Great place to walk, see sailboat and aircraft landing.. I highly recommend going there just to relax or with the kids

Depending on how large the company is. Their picnic areas are pretty big and so is the field. I would look up how many people the picnic areas can accommodate on the San leandro park and rec website
They are open with signs outside saying to wear masks.
I don't see y not...lots if bbq pits here just watch out for Betty 😂😂🤣
Yes
I will recommended to call the marina recreation park.
You'll find all the seagulls you want at El torrito Restaurant parking lot.
no, spare the air day
Seems you must dispose of your charcoal in the use-specific receptacles to ensure no fires. Don't know about reserving grills...
Reservations through San Leandro parks center definitely would reserve asap because with the weather it's been crowded lately
Depending on the time of day sometimes fills have reserved, had their event and left, thus making it available. But, no guarantee with this method. Larger the group the wiser it is to make a reservation. Smaller groups tend to be more flexible.
I don't know.but the air quality is no safe for any activities out side
Pretty much all Bay Area parks are closed at sunset. But if you drive up the street and turn left where the El Torito is and follow that around there's another large public parking lot that is excellent for that that we have been using for decades.
First come first served. It does get busy early though
