After about two months of training, I was able to feel a difference. The exercises were not complicated and I liked that they are safe for the older generation

Wow! These sessions have changed my mother's life in such a positive way. I could see results after just the first few sessions. Now she is more active now than she has been in years (77F). She walks across the room rather than hobble like she used to. Thank you, staff, for what you do!

Osteostrong is a method of using simple machines to use your own body weight to build bone density. The osteostrong equipment is designed to safely and effectively increase axial pressure on your bones, triggering bone density growth.

Is OsteoStrong Safe?

OsteoStrong Palos Verdes | Sep 11, 2021

Yes, OsteoStrong is significantly safer than attempting high impact force. OsteoStrong members have reported improved bone density, improved balance and increased strength. It has long been known that high-intensity resistance exercise and impact increases osteogenic loading and bone mineral density (BMD). OsteoStrong uses high-intensity resistance exercises with the Spectrum BioDensity equipment on force production, and leg muscle strength. Doctors can track HA1C diabetes markers and satisfactory bone mineral density (BMD) outcomes.

How does the OsteoStrong system work?

OsteoStrong therapy utilizes a series of devices that allow axial compression of bone to generate Osteogenic Loading. Because of the optimized positioning of the human body, loading forces go through the human bone that are far higher than those seen in daily activity or weight training. Heavy loading is already understood and recommended by all international bodies of medical education. This is a good thing, OsteoStrong takes the science and makes it safer. In fact, we’ve known for over 100 years that Osteogenic Loading works. In the late 1800’s, Dr. Julius Wolff discovered that bones will adapt to the loads under which they are placed. To get stronger bones you need to trigger osteogenesis. There is a minimum threshold to triggering osteogenesis. This amount is 4.2 times your body weight. It is incredibly difficult to generate this much resistance. Our machines provide an ergonomic platform to let you achieve this resistance this easily and safely.
