A low grade Motel priced like a mid grade Hotel. Management was extremely rude. Rooms were both small and dated. The size and cleanliness of the “swimming pool” looked like it was better suited to Koi fish than for human use.

Not sure about the fuss in reviews here. Check-in was smooth and took maybe 15 minutes. The manager was pleasant and made good for small talk conversation. The room we stayed in was clean, didn't have any mess as others have stated. It's by far the cheapest motel in town and it's obviously a small, family run business and I'm glad to help out any small business in Corporate owned America. Give it a chance for the price, it's not a Hilton and is perfect to catch some ZZZZs when traveling the 80.

All the other 1 star reviews are correct. Left after being threatened by the owner for questioning the standards? Dirty rooms, the locks on the doors didn't work and apparently I missed the cancel before deadline. Why? No one answered the phone or responded to my email. I called the franchise to complain and they said they could do nothing... there goes 600$. I decided the money wasn't worth my well being, and went to the IHG 5 min down the road.

I would give negative stars if possible. I normally enjoy Choice Hotels but this was ridiculous. Terrible check-in. We made reservations weeks ago and when we arrived the manager was sleeping while an employee (seemingly his son or something) was legs up on the lobby couch on his laptop. When we tried to check in, the son tried to turn us away, saying the manager was sleeping and saying, "I don't know what you want me to do, he's sleeping". After 20 minutes, we were told to try calling his cell, to which he picked up, and 10 minutes later he came out so we could start the lengthy check in process. In fact, it was so long we thought he went back to sleep. Along the entire process, we were given death stares and it was clear that the guy hated his life and didn't want to be there. The room itself was the bare minimum, there was even leftover food in the refrigerator. We also requested a rollaway bed (at the time of reservation, and in person), which they refused to give us. At checkout, we noticed that the son was secretly going door-to-door asking customers for tips for himself. And to top it off, at checkout, the manager insulted my friend and threatened to call the police if he didn't leave since he was gay. Plus he seemed to passively accuse us of smoking, saying several times that if there is a smell from smoking there will be an additional charge. Pool was also very dirty. Terrible, terrible service and management. Steer clear if you have literally any other options.
