This place is perfect because you get the island feel, without the island cost, and the town is only improving with a new grocery, restaurant/pub opening August of 2022, plus you have Ray's on The Bay, which has a Put In Bay bar feel to it. If you feel like going to islands, you can take a $12 cab and take Jet Express out of Sandusky. Sandra The Host was hands down the best Host I ever had; possibly because it was really only her, and she is very cool and helpful. Just keep in mind, it's a Motel, not Hotel, but they have everything you need including coffee in the office, and the view is something else! :) Most Pet Friend place I ever stayed too. They even had dog bowls and even blankets for dog for dog bed. Don't pass this up!! :) Thank you for my vacation!

PROS: -excellent hospitality -complimentary drinks -very clean and simple -cute decor -nice shower pressure -great view of and access to Sandusky Bay -good price -good AC -comfortable beds -nice TV with cable -quiet CONS -BAD wifi connection/signal -needs shelves and more hooks in bathroom -need a small table and 2 chairs in main room (nowhere to put food) -tiny garbage can in room -1 outlet loose and not working properly -no curtains to block light (we used a blanket which did the trick) -no ice machine Saundra was wonderful! She made our last-minute booking easy and convenient. Gotta get that wifi fixed, though. Made it very hard to stay in touch with family and search the locale.

This hands down was the best hotel I’ve stayed at ! Cute little snuggly room right across from the bay and Sandra was the best property manager very friendly and helpful I’ve Told many friends and family members about this little Hidden gem and I can’t wait to come Back soon perfect weekend get away ❤️❤️❤️

The receptionist was a really friendly lady. I'll say she is one of the best I've seen while checking in. She was friendly, nice and very accommodating. While the place won't look great from the outside, your opinion will change after you look at the rooms from inside. The one we got was upgraded, maybe not to a high end level but still it's great for a motel. I'll recommend this place👍
