Still very early with this clinic, only have been waiting for 18 months for suicide prevention help. They only answer the phone if you wait and it transfers to the operator and the operator screens you as "not wasting the clinic's time" and then will transfer you. Would like to think that if you take the time to call the clinic, that would mean that it is important enough to answer. Needed social worker and was told that the VA does not provide the resources. The social worker needs to be retrained and informed what the resources in the VA are and what is available.

Like this place. Great place. They are pretty quick here. Glad they changed some of the nurses and certain social worker here.

My best friend committed suicide because you guys failed him! Stay away from the VA!

Was denied a fourth dose of COVID-19. Was refused service. Clinic was closed during normal business hours. Was told my primary care physician reviewed my chart. I’ve never seen anyone at said clinic before so how could I have a physician there?

Yes
Are you a veteran? And not likely but at jet hawk stadium there's a drive-thru at the hospital on right across the street from the VA clinic they do walk in testing and if you go to high desert medical they'll do testing they suggest you call first but if if you have symptoms at all they'll probably allow you to go over the high desert medical on 15th jayhawk stadium is the drive-thru and there's another one in Palmdale that's a drive-thru I'm not sure where it's at so if you're not a veteran I don't think you can get one at the Lancaster clinic and I couldn't get one there when I went in I had to go to heidelson medical to get one so good luck
Are you referring to the va? Besides if you go online there are plenty of places that test for free. And as long as you can prove that you didn't get the test, themndï
About 1 o'clock when , but its open during lunch, but the Nurses are out lunch , but the reception are always there!
The turnover rate is atrocious. Any decent physician or nurse leaves as they are constantly faced with the bureaucratic apathy towards veterans that defines the Veterans Administration. In the last three years, I have had three different providers.
Yes. Don't call during peak times
There is an application that needs to be completed at the facility.
For something like this, I would call directly.
You can process for the id card, but the card will be mail to you.
I believe you can ask for a specific PA or Dr. when you make your appointment but it may delay when you get seen.
