Flew down for a consult based on his reviews on RealSelf. Which I found out after entering his office he pays for. There’s advertising cards that he will pay for your reviews there. The entire time I was talked over, unable to finish anything I was trying to say. He was entirely dismissive and even suggested I get a procedure(buccal reduction) done that I already had done and was in my notes, so he clearly did not even bother to read those. I’ve been to many consultations with many derms and surgeons for varieties of reasons over the years and this was honestly the worst experience I’ve ever had in a consult room. It was so off putting that I did not even want him to administer any treatment by the end of it, despite me having traveled down to see him. However the front desk girl and girl assisting were very sweet, it’s too bad they work for him.

Everything about Dr. Emer and his team is AMAZING! I am petrified of needles, and they all made me feel so comfortable to where I hardly noticed a needle was going in my face!!!!! highly recommend Dr. Emer and his team for anything!
