Online it said two products were available in store. One was not. Waited around the electronics table for employees to finish personal conversation with other customers so that someone could unlock something for me and I could buy it. When finally acknowledged, I was told to go up front and get in a queue because they were short staffed and this person couldn't help me. There was literally no one else around, the personal conversation was over and I had been waiting, actually walking back and forth between some items deciding if I was going to get anything else since the conversation was going on so long about local things to do (preferred brands and favorite ways food was cooked etc....) So I went to the restroom and then there was a line up front for the queue. My husband went to triple check and take a photo of the product I wanted unlocked and the guy was just there stocking shelves and taking down other products. He asked husband if we got in the queue. My husband told him there was a long line for the queue. Two employees were talking near the TVs. My husband asked the electronics employee if anyone could just help since he was standing back there and I was in the queue line. The guy said no. My husband returned to me and asked us to leave. I convinced my husband to go back in the store and get this laptop since we spent so much time. We were told the laptop was out of stock, even though it was on display and the website said it was available. I wish the electronics guy could've let us know, at least he could have looked it up or had the ability to put it us in a queue himself or could get items without us having to be put in a queue. It was just obnoxious to be there for over half an hour for no product and no help.

First visit to one of these places in years, I can't believe they're still in business. Their customer service program is to refer you to the Geek Squad, the item we purchased was a mother's day gift and it didn't not work when opened. We did not get feedback from from mom that id did not work in time to confirm it's function. When we discovered it did not work and confirmed it was not functioning we tried to take it back. Their policy is no warranty after 14 days. Don't purchase Christmas presents from them! By the time they are gifted you will be on you own. They turn their back on the consumer and I cant recommend any purchase from them.

I scheduled an appointment here for an iPhone repair via Apple’s support system. Arrived and was told no one on staff was able to do repairs and to come back tomorrow as a walk-in. What was the point of the appointment then? Couldn’t someone have notified me so I didn’t drive all the way here? I was here one year ago and it was awful (no staff on hand for anything). I doubt I’ll ever set foot in another Best Buy agin.

The associate who helped me was super nice and patient with me as I had multiple forms of payment which was not quick. However, with that being said, having the lights shut off on you 20 min before the store is supposed to be closed was a little off-putting. Then after I finished checking out I could not immediately walk out the doors because the employees has already locked it from the inside. I had to find an employee who had the key to unlock the door and allow me to leave.

I don't think so. You would have to ask the Greek squad about that.
A shortage of workers, minimum pay and those who are not looking for employment will create the long lines that you are referencing to.
You can, I did yesterday.

Take it back where you bought it, with your paperwork.
