Favorite pre-concert spot for shows at the Variety Playhouse, which is across the street. Broad range of styles of beer, and elevated pub food. Friendly, helpful service. One of the top beer bars in the USA.

Went for a drink on a Sunday afternoon. Loved the atmosphere, good selection of drinks. There was a basement like room with aged brewery, that can be 'rented' by a bigger group.

Delicious drinks and food in low key atmosphere. Fries nice and crispy, well seasoned; Battered fish perfectly cooked; smash burger pretty tasty; goat cheese fritters are a must order item

Stopped in the Porter last night for a beer and appetizer prior to attending a show at the Variety Playhouse. We always love coming here. Really great vibe, great food and an impressive beer list. Katie the bartender was super friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a couple of pints of ice cold Drafty Kilts and an order of their fabulous Belgian Fries. We highly recommend the Porter, even if you're in your 60's like we are!

We are following all the state mandated safety practices. All of our tables and bar seats are spaced 6 feet apart. Our staff wear masks whenever interacting with guests. We have hand sanitizer throughout the restaurant for guests' use. Let me know if you have any additional questions!
