Great place to run, walk and bike. Unfortunately, they blocked off all access to the river. It used to be a great place to bring your dogs and let them get in the water. It also used to have a clearing for people to picnic and a restroom area. Those are the reasons for only 4 stars.

Beautiful place with great trails and the gorgeous, lazy Chattahoochee River. So many people though. Take the back trails, it’s less crowded.

Yes people fish from here on a regular basis. The water level can vary a couple feet or more depending on rains and dam releases upstream. When levels are lower some wade out to the exposed rocks and fish from them. Waters are fairly cool because of coming from the bottom of the dams so prepare for that as well.
