Halfway through a tub of store bought brown goo they labeled as "honey" I started researching local apiaries. I've had honey in most parts of the world while traveling and was always amazed at the different tastes and even colors so as time wore on and the various brands claiming this and that started making their way into the mainstream, I was let down; more so when the brand I started buying many years ago that actually was local, was now a concoction and mixture of bee juice from various unknown parts of the world. Even the stuff you buy at higher end markets (no names will be provided: (think whole paycheck) is a hit and miss. (More miss than hit.) I took a chance and ordered from The Honey Ladies. The remaining brown goo went down the sink after my first cup of tea. The wildflower honey is simply amazing. Probably the best honey I've ever had the pleasure of making a cuppa with. I originally called to find the store hours but missed closing time. So Wendy said she would stop by the shop and pack up my order and ship while she was out running errands. I got my honey and some bee pollen in 2 days. Great customer service. UNBELIEVABLY DELICIOUS honey. Immediately after my first cup of tea I ordered a bigger jar. I'm spreading the word to everyone in the family. Christmas presents are going to be easier. The best part is that it's a local business with local bees. Thanks Honey Ladies.
