Good service and pleasant staff. Some of the food items like the Mac and cheese were lacking flavor, but the baked wings, collards and candied yams were decent. Candied yams could’ve been a little less watery. The pound cake was to die for! Very delicious.

I don’t mind paying more money for good food, but the quality has to match. I’ve been told to try “The Beautiful Restaurant “ and today I finally did, only to be disappointed. The fried chicken was horrible, old, almost like it had been fried multiple times. I also ordered the baked chicken. They too seemed like it was fried and then put in some gravy. They should be shame to serve this.

Food is good here, cooked fresh. I noticed they cut back on their seasoning tho.. But definitely a decent place for some soul food.

March-15-2022: Take-out meals served only during this covid-19 pandemic and customers must wear face masks while inside restaurant to order and pay for food. I liked the macaroni and cheese that tastes like it was made from scratch with real 100% cheese and whole milk, and when you get home seasoning with more salt and butter helps to bring out the cheesy taste. Cornbread also had a good taste and texture and also tasted like whole milk was used in making it; and just as important for me, it tasted like real made from scratch home cooked cornbread without including sugar as an ingredient. Cornbread should not taste like a sweet dessert (such as that made with sugary boxed jiffy mix and similarly packaged cornbread mix). The rice and brown gravy had a good flavor and consistency. The crust on the apple cobbler tasted good and flakey with juicy apple slices; however, the filling was too sweet. The oxtails and barbecued beef bones were seasoned well but a little tough on this day and I will not order them again. The dressing was disappointing to me because it was sweet and tasted like it was made with a combination of sweet boxed jiffy cornbread mix and boxed stove top stuffing mix. I won't order it again. The restaurant is 45 minutes to an hour from my home and I am usually not on that side of Atlanta unless for official business as was the case today, so I don't plan to go there again just to buy a take-out meal. But if I am in the area again I might buy an all vegetable plate.
