This is a beautiful golf course with nice views. Well maintained and the staff is all around very good and professional. They will treat you very well here. The other golfers here are relaxed and friendly. Not so much pressure like others.

Great course to play, friendly staff and great golf shop. They paired us up with these lovely ladies from Canada and we had the best of times. Great way to meet people from around the world and expand your friendship.

Danny Nicasio, Doug and the rest of the staff were amazing. Course was in great shape that day. Very fun municipal course that I will be back to on my next trip to the desert. Brother got a hole in one on the fourth hole & Danny, being an absolute stud, took the hole in one flag off his office wall and gave it to him along with the pro shop certificate. What a day!

I've never left a review for a golf course but this place left a terrible impression on me even as I'm writing this 2 days later. We had a 4some tee time for 7:20 on Saturday. We tee'd off late due to the guys in front of us. We're not slow players, we're all in our 30's and decent players. On 3 occasions, their Marshall Doug, approached us and told us to play quicker even though no one was on our tail. The last confrontation included him declaring himself as a black belt to us and forced us to skip a hole or leave the course. He was extremely rude, belligerent, and unprofessional. I've never been treated like a piece of garbage before at a golf course. It ruined our moods and round. Stay far away from this course. It's definitely not worth the $80.

Open at weekend......
For Cathedral Canyon Golf Course rentals just call the Welk Resort main number in Cathedral City. They'll fix you right up. It's been a while since we stayed there but the rooms were very nice staff was most pleasant and accommodating.
Don't know phone course directly
UPDATE: As of Wednesday 2/20/2019, the full course is open. Holes 1 and ten are now playing as par 3. All other holes are perfect. As of Monday, the front 9 of the course is open. Hole one has been truncated from a par 5 to par 3 due to fairway damage. The back nine is closed until we can clear a safe path from the clubhouse across the wash. Fairway ten sustained damage and will likely, when open, be a par 3 or 4. No real estimate on when the back 9 will be accessible. The driving range sustained the most damage and will be closed for a longer period of time. No estimate for when it will be open again. Practice putting green and a small chipping green are available for use. Phone lines were damaged during the flooding. As of Monday, phones were inoperative. No estimate on the repair time. If you would like to book a tee time, use the JC Golf app on your phone or tablet, or visit jcgolf.com to book a tee time.
