Thank you for your question. We are not that kind of shelter. We provide emergency crisis shelter for victims of intimate partner domestic violence with or without children, who are fleeing an abusive relationship and are in imminent danger.

Thank you for your inquiry. We provide a, variety of services for individuals in abusive relationships, with an inimate partner. Please have the young lady contact our hotline at 760-328-7233. It is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Hotline staff are bilingual (English and Spanish speaking). They can provide her with information, safety planning, and shelter services depending on the assistance she requests and needs. If she is immediate danger she can contact her local law enforcement agency or 911 for assistance.

Wow Cheryl, I posted my review on shelter from the storm because they were so helpful and kind. I would have thought they would take clothes. That is generous of you to try. Your heart is right

Thank you for reaching out. We are currently working remotely due to the pandemic. We are also reorganizing the agency and our fundraising efforts. Donations are not being accepted at this time until we are back on-site.

However, due to the holidays and lack of storage space we are not accepting used items until the week of January 13, 2020. Thank you for thinking of us. Happy Holidays!

Thank you for your inquiry. Yes, we accept donations of cosmetics. They can be dropped off in a box, that would be fine. As we prepare for the holiday distributions for our clients, we are only accepting new items and unwrapped toys. We will resume accepting lightly used items and other donations after the holidays, starting January 13, 2020. All donations are to be dropped off at our main office in Palm Desert, Monday-Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm. Thank you!

Thank you for your inquiry. Yes, we do accept used cellular phones. They can be dropped off at our Community Counseling Center/Adminstration Office in Palm Desert, Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pm.
