Update 08/01/2022 Every time I would go, someone new would cut my hair. For some reason I never see the same people. The last two times I ended disappointed. I walked out with a bad hair cut my wife laughed at me; sides where uneven and so badly cut that I even went back to complain. The lady saw me coming to her business and she seem to know right away why I was there. Because she stepped outside with me so other customers wouldn't know why I was there even before asking me why was I back. Later she sat me down to try to fix it. She did not fixed it thou she only left me with very little short hair and you could still she how bad she had cut it. It was an awful experience. Yes hair grows, but I don't need this. I now go to a local Barber Shop here in Downey, it made a huge difference. My hair grows evenly and its thick now. 2 Years Ago: Some are great at what they do. Really like this place.

Came in today was unable to check in on line which I told them when I came in their was two names on board when I came in by the time she checked. Me I their was 3 more names ahead of me . She took the two that were originally ahead of me which was ok but when finished was we with them she kept that actually taking others ahead of me . I guess she was mad that I had not checked in on line . I wasted 45 minutes of my day trying to get a haircut and finally walked out . I have been going there for a long time and have never been treated like that . Very unprofessional and disrespectful. I will be looking for a new place to get my haircut that act wants my business

Downloaded the app. Found the location in Downey nearest to me. Checked in using the app. For my estimated wait time. Drove to the location and the door was locked. The person inside gestured that they are closed. Sign says they don’t close till 8pm. It was 5pm no later 5:15 when when I arrived. Waste of gas which kinda suck to be honest.

The cost of a haircut at Great Clips is a great value at the regular price. However, we do offer discounts from time to time. These discounts may take place at various times for the salons in your area due to them being independently-owned.

No. For the stylist’s safety, we do not publish their schedules or allow customers to request them using Online Check-In. Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
Online Check-In can be used for all services except perms and formal updos. Please note that not all salons offer perms. Most salons require an appointment for these services, so please call your local Great Clips salon to inquire.
