The food is excellent BUT that is about it! The staff has no customer service skills. When you enter the Host & Hostess look annoyed to see you. The young woman and the young man that host the entrance look at you as if you are not worthy to be in their presence. I've received friendlier service at street taco stand. The waiter was no better. I asked a question about what kind of fish a dish was composed of and his response was "some kind of fish." Had I not been with an elderly friend I would certainly told the manager of how inhospitable this place is but I did not want to stress my elderly friend. I'll never eat there again. They can keep their whatever "some kind of fish" to themselves.

Jeff Earl and his family do the best tamales in town and margaritas always a delight dining there

Lots of outdoor seating during pandemic restrictions. Extremely friendly service, excellent food with large portions and stiff drinks. They now have wonderful tents and heaters outside. It all makes for a great evening. Reservations are recommended for large groups at peak times, which are most evenings.

I like the ambiance and the area more than the food. The drinks are just ok and the food is decent . The staff is great.

Yes! It's absolutely beautiful inside and booths have plexiglass to separate tables. Get a booth if you want best social distancing. Have fun!
I work at the very first Red Onion at Imperial and Howthorne 57year ago.And the one in Palos Verdes is the only one left all the other ones are closed.and the owner is the son of Bart Earl The original .There were many the one in Palos Verdes is #3
It's across the street from the Peninsula Center Library.
No, the Red Onion in Palos Verdes has been there since 1963. It's the only one still solely owned by the original owners.
That is a management/owner question.
They have something called Breakfast Club starting at 7:30 every other Sunday. Not sure if its a "brunch" type set-up tho!
Put some tuna in a bowl & dip a chip...
I just called them, and they told me they are open from 11 a.m. Until 8 p.m. Tomorrow, Christmas Eve. Monday, Christmas Day, they are closed.
